I am a “Proud Museum Person.”

I embrace every single nerdy idea that crosses my mind.

I am completely incapable of driving past a brown or blue historical marker when I am taking a road trip. This has lead me to see some wonderfully unexpected things.

I have a reputation for driving long distances and taking back roads. I have been known to drive 100 miles or more out of my way. I do this just to see a historic house museum, tourist attractions of historic site. Sometimes, I go to a historic battlefield. Other times, I visit a kitschy roadside attraction.

I am a passionate tour guide. I am full of “fun facts” that I can’t help but share. I share these with anyone brave enough to enter my car.
